Inspiring Music in Worship
St.Andrew’s Church, Taunton TA2 6HU
Directed by: Rev Helen Bent
A day for clergy, worship leaders, musicians and singers
led by Rev Helen Bent Head of Ministerial Training RSCM in partnership with Praxis
Helen Bent is a priest and musician with a wealth of experience in both parish ministry and the training of worship leaders and musicians across the country. This engaging and interactive day will encourage parishes to make the best use of music to enhance their worship, even with few resources, fostering greater understanding between leaders, musicians and congregations. There will be lots of musical examples although no musical expertise is needed.
The day is based on the excellent RSCM course of the same name and the course book will be available on the day. A review on the RSCM website says of it: ‘What a gift! This is outstanding material and could be the most important and effective resource published in recent years.’
